Infy Chat is owned and operated by Glupe Media Group LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Infy Chat handles privacy, account information, encrypted communications, technical metadata, and user data when you use our website, desktop apps, mobile apps, or related services.

1. Agreement to This Policy

By accessing or using Infy Chat, including through chat.infy.gg, our desktop applications, mobile applications, or any related service, you agree to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, and any other related policies. If you do not agree, you should not use Infy Chat.

2. Privacy-First Platform

Infy Chat is designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible. We care about user privacy and do not intend to build user profiles, sell personal information, or track users for advertising purposes.

3. Information Required to Sign Up

At this time, users only need to create a username and password to sign up for Infy Chat.

We do not currently require an email address. If email addresses or other account details are added in the future, any additional information requested will be optional unless otherwise clearly stated.

4. Information We May Process

Infy Chat operates using technologies such as the Matrix protocol, which require limited technical data and metadata to function properly.

This may include:

IP address
Device type
Browser or app version
Operating system
Connection and routing metadata
Server logs for performance, reliability, troubleshooting, and security
Basic account and authentication records needed to operate the service

This information is used strictly for operating the service, maintaining performance, preventing abuse, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliability.

We do not use this data for profiling, advertising, or resale, and we do not retain it longer than reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the service.

5. End-to-End Encryption

Infy Chat uses end-to-end encryption for message data where supported by the platform. This means that message content is intended to be readable only by the sender and intended recipient or room participants.

Infy Chat, Glupe Media Group LLC, and its owners do not have access to the readable contents of end-to-end encrypted messages.

6. Security and Encryption Disclosure

Infy Chat uses encryption and security technologies to help protect user communications. However, no online service, software platform, device, server, or encryption system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their own devices, login credentials, recovery keys, and account access. If a device is compromised, unlocked, shared, infected with malware, or accessed by another person, encrypted communications may still be exposed on that device.

7. Message Content

Because messages are encrypted end to end where supported, Infy Chat and Glupe Media Group LLC cannot monitor, review, edit, approve, or control the contents of private encrypted user communications.

Users are solely responsible for the messages, files, media, and other content they send, upload, share, or transmit through Infy Chat.

8. File Uploads

Infy Chat may allow file sharing with a maximum upload size of 100MB per file. Uploaded files may be encrypted where supported by the platform. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they own or have legal permission to upload and share any files.

9. We Do Not Sell Personal Data

Infy Chat and Glupe Media Group LLC do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

10. Data Storage

Infy Chat may store account-related information necessary to operate the service, such as usernames, authentication data, encrypted message data, room data, settings, encrypted file data, and technical service information.

Message data that is encrypted end to end is not accessible to Infy Chat or Glupe Media Group LLC in readable form.

11. Passwords and Account Security

Passwords are handled securely and are not stored in plain text. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and secure. Infy Chat and Glupe Media Group LLC are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by weak passwords, shared credentials, compromised devices, lost recovery keys, or user negligence.

12. Age Requirement

Infy Chat is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Infy Chat, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to use this service.

13. Legal Requests and Government Requests

Glupe Media Group LLC may respond to valid legal requests, court orders, subpoenas, warrants, or government demands when legally required to do so.

However, because Infy Chat uses end-to-end encryption where supported, we may not be able to provide readable message content. We can only provide information that we actually possess, can access, and are legally required to disclose.

15. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for their use of Infy Chat and for any content, communications, files, or activity associated with their accounts.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infy Chat, Glupe Media Group LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for user-generated content, user conduct, encrypted communications, third-party actions, data loss, service interruptions, misuse of the platform, copyright violations, uploaded files, or damages arising from use of the service.

17. No Guarantee of Absolute Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect the service, but no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You use Infy Chat at your own risk.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of Infy Chat after updates are posted means you accept the updated policy.
